Fairfax, VA Water Hardness and Iron Removal
Challenge
Mrs. K. wanted to ensure that her new home would be supplied with good quality water. Having dealt with problematic water in this past she knew the side effects of not addressing certain issues. She was also familiar with the problems associated with installing lesser equipment.
Solution
We first started by updating the aging pressure tank. We then addressed the heavy amounts of iron by installing a new Water Care “Ion Air Cat” Iron Filtration system. We then installed a specialized water softener (Total Care Elite) that is not only capable of addressing the hard water but also has the capability of slightly raising a lower pH. This allowed us to address two issues with one unit. This saved the customer money by addressing all of the issues with only two units instead of the three that would normally be needed.
