Broad Run, VA Water Treatment Install
Challenge
When Mrs. L. bought a rental property she quickly learned that there were serious issues with the water. Knowing that this would be a problem with anyone renting the house she had us out to evaluate. We found one piece of water treatment that was misapplied and not working and an ultraviolet light that was not properly installed.
Solution
We first removed the misapplied unit and installed a new Water Care “Ion Air Cat” to remove the large amounts of iron in the water. Due to heavy sediment coming out of the well we proceeded the unit with a large cartridge filter. We then relocated, rearranged, and repiped the ultraviolet light and its pre-filter so that it would function properly. This job allowed us to update and improve the overall quality of water while reusing several existing components saving the customer equipment costs.
